Bel-Air Open House and Garden Tour

The history and class of Bel-Air was on display this past Sunday as the Association hosted members and guests for a Home & Garden Tour.  Nearly 100 attendees and volunteers were shuttled throughout the neighborhood to experience the best Bel-Air has to offer.  Tour highlights included real-estate businessman and architectural historian, Jeff Hyland, who spoke at a beautiful 1939 Paul Williams designed home.  An original Everett Phipps Babcock home from 1923 and preserved 1928 Wallace Neff were show stoppers.  Leading voices of the architecture and design included Madeline Stuart, March Wiseley, Andrea Scharff and Mehran Shaverdi who shed light on the history of these homes.

It was a perfect day to experience old Bel-Air and with the success of the Home & Garden Tour, the Bel-Air Association intends to make this a yearly event.
