Medical Marijuana Dispensaries - LAPD helps clarify questions regarding medical marijuana dispensaries located in the Moraga Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard area
To answer some of our resident’s questions regarding the two medical marijuana dispensaries in the Moraga Drive and Sepulveda Boulevard area, please see the message below from LAPD's Senior Lead Officer Chris Ragsdale. One of the dispensaries had been shut down in June due to non-compliance with Proposition D (see link below to read Proposition D). The other dispensary is Proposition D compliant and is allowed to conduct business.
Message from Officer Ragsdale:
On 6/15/16, the West Los Angeles Area Narcotics Enforcement Detail served a search warrant at The Getty Green Marijuana Dispensary located at 612 N. Sepulveda Blvd. (east side) which was not Proposition D compliant.
The Alternative Medical Group (AMG) located at 641 N Sepulveda Blvd. (freeway side) has been operating at this location for several years and is Proposition D compliant and is operating within the legal requirements of the law.
