Putting your garbage cans out too early and leaving them on the street too long violates the LA Municipal Code. Here are the official rules:
Cans cannot be on the street before 6 pm Tuesday.
Cans must be on the street by 6 am Wednesday.
Cans must be off the street by 8 pm Wednesday.
Please do not store garbage cans permanently on the street. They should be on your property.
