Traffic Impact Update: Mulholland gas meter installation finish date extended to March 31, 2017

As posted last week, SoCal Gas Company is installing a new gas meter beneath Mulholland Drive (14430 Mulholland Drive) between Nicada Drive and Beverly Glen Boulevard. The project requires a two foot-trench for both the north and south side of Mulholland Drive. Work began on Monday, March 13th, and now will end Friday, March 31st.

Lane closures will be between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

To help you navigate around the work, flagmen will be directing traffic. Additionally, there will be message boards at both ends of Mulholland Drive (within the project scope), one at Beverly Glen and the other near the 405 warning drivers of the upcoming project. The message boards will be out on site tomorrow. Please use Nicada Drive as an alternate route. As always, any emergency response vehicles will be given full access.

This SoCal Gas Company work is necessary to improve our aging infrastructure.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Valley Director of CD5, Gurmet Khara 818-971-3088, or Mike Harriel with SoCal Gas at 213-244-4633.
