BAA anticipates City enforcement of amended Municipal Ordinance to deal with illegally-parked food trucks
On Tuesday, August 22, 2017, the Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to amend the municipal ordinance governing food trucks with the intent to crack down on operators of food trucks who park illegally in residential areas. Illegally-parked food trucks has been included as a public safety complaint by community members. The amended ordinance is awaiting Mayor Garcetti's signature to become law.
Mayor Garcetti is on his second personal vacation since June. He expected time away from his office is two weeks.
