State Legislative News: SB 827 stalled this week in Transportation and Housing Committee; another Bill introduced by Scott Weiner -- SB 828 also undermines local planning

Senate Bill 827 was stopped in the Senate this week.  The Bill would have overridden local zoning near transit and bust stops to raze entire neighborhoods.  

Scott Weiner has introduced another--Senate Bill 828--which is another bill that will undermine local planning decisions.
