City Council unanimously supports Koretz’s Motion to oppose SB 50

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously 12-0 against Senate Bill 50, CA State Senator Scott Weiner’s transit-housing bill.  On February 27, 2019, Councilmember Paul Koretz introduced a Motion to oppose SB 50 on the basis the Bill would allow construction of higher density multi-family housing developments near major transit stops that are out-of-compliance with local land use regulations and procedures.
