Invitation to Community Holiday Reception and Toy Drive

On Tuesday, November 29th, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM, please join BAA's Membership and Community Outreach Committee to kick-off the holiday spirit with a community get-together and toy drive to benefit Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Dear Bel Air Resident –

This holiday season, the Bel Air Association is launching a community toy drive for patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.  Many families with kids being treated at Children’s are stressed both financially and schedule-wise.  A trip to the toy store is the last thing on their minds– but a small gift certainly brightens everybody’s day!   Please help us “share the wealth” by contributing an unwrapped toy for a sick child.  Below is a gift wish-list provided by the hospital.  

You are welcome to contribute other new items you think a child (or teenager!) might enjoy.  Please do not wrap any of the gifts.  The hospital has a squad of wrapping volunteers who will help match gifts to the appropriate patients.

You can drop gifts at the BAA office beginning Monday, November 28th.   Gifts will be delivered to CHLA on Friday, December 16th.   Stop by the BAA office Tuesday, November 29 between 4:30-6:00 PM for our Holiday Open House, refreshments and good fellowship.  Bring your unwrapped gifts for sick children.  Let’s start heading for a brighter tomorrow in our own community and throughout our nation.
