LAFD’s maiden use of drone with Skirball Fire: Demonstration for news media held yesterday

On Thursday, Los Angeles Fire Department provided a drone demonstrated to local news media featuring its new Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) that was first used in the Skirball Fire to provide post-fire damage assessment and the infrared capability to identify remaining hotspots in the brush.
