Final reminder: Sunset resurfacing commences Saturday morning at 6:00 AM

The Bureau of Street Services has scheduled resurfacing of Sunset Blvd from Veteran Ave to N Thurston Ave this weekend Saturday June 10th to Sunday June 11th. The Department will be profiling the segment on Saturday and repaving on Sunday. 

Message boards have been placed along Sunset Blvd alerting drivers of the upcoming repaving project. The project will take place from 6:00am- 6:00pm. Traffic will be allowed in one direction each way during the hours of operation. We would advise you to avoid Sunset Blvd this weekend if possible.

In addition to the Sunset resurfacing, there is another resurfacing project slated for June 17-18 for the road segment on Sepulveda Boulevard from Skirball Center Drive to Mulholland Boulevard.
