Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir Water Quality Improvement Project Update:

This past Wednesday, Council District 5 hosted another update meeting between LADWP and community leaders that included the Bel-Air Association and the Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council.  The BAA wishes to thank Gurmet Khara of CD5 for her diligence in keeping the community informed of this large renovation project.

Here is the update:

LADWP has begun it's project of Upper Stone.

Residents will begin to see more truck activity beginning next week. The traffic plan still remains the same with trucks using the 405 freeway and Mulholland Drive to access the property (no trucks are allowed to head east from the reservoir).

We will begin to see heavier truck traffic between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm beginning mid-September.  A LADWP mailer did go out to the community and is also linked below.

Gurmet Khara will host another update meeting sometime in October/ November.  LADWP will also try to give Councilmember Koretz’s office monthly updates that Gurmet will pass on so the community will be informed.
