Attention BAA Residents and BAA Block Captains: One-day Amateur (HAM) Radio Class and Exam Session


The UCLA Office of Emergency Management is hosting a one-day Amateur (Ham) Radio Licensing class and exam session on FridayMay 4, 2018.  The instructors of the class are graciously holding some spaces open for BAA residents.

If you would like to take the class and exam, please let the BAA know by Friday, April 20th or sooner!  The instructors need a head count and payment.  You will also receive instruction material that you will need to study before the class.

FEE: There is a $45 fee which will need to be paid in advance by check, cash, Paypal or Zelle in order to reserve a space in the class.  Checks are made payable to "Los Angeles Emergency Communications Group" ($15 to ARRL for the licensing fee + $30 for the LA Emergency Communications Group for the class instruction).

Instructors will also require your email address in order to send the initial study materials.
