LA County West Vector Control Outreach: West Nile Virus on the rise, among other unpleasant things

The West Nile virus has 12 cases reported already this year.  At the Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council Board meeting last Wednesday, Los Angeles County West Vector & Vector-Borne Disease Control's Public Education Specialist, Ms. Heather Teodoro, provided an impressive presentation for community awareness to conditions that are favorable for breeding of mosquito and other insects and vectors around our homes and community.  Below is a link to a pamphlet that explains what to do and who to call should you see stagnant water or increase in the number of pests.
