Cyclist suffers serious injuries from accident with construction truck

A cyclist and construction truck were involved in an accident Wednesday morning around 7 AM on one of the blind curves on the 800 block of Stradella Road.  The cyclist suffered broken ribs, a fractured vertebra and serious leg injuries.  This is the second known accident at this location in less than a week

The BAA reminds residents to drive, ride and walk with extreme caution on our hillside roads—especially on Stradella Road — where the road is narrow, steep, winding with many blind curves and several active construction sites.
