LA Sanitation: Garbage containers need replacement or repair?

In Bel-Air, LA Sanitation services three colors of automated containers that are supplied to each property:

• 60-gallon Black (for household refuse)

• 90-gallon Blue (for recyclables)

• 90-gallon Green (for yard trimmings)

Homeowners may upgrade the 60-gallon black container for a 90-gallon black container for a recurring bimonthly fee.  They may also add additional containers for added recurring bimonthly fees.

If your containers are broken or missing, please call LA Sanitation’s 24-hour Customer Care Center at 1-800-773-2489.  Please have your bin number, (located on the bin) handy if possible.  If you have any questions concerning your City issued containers or any other containers on the street, please call the LASAN Customer Care Center at 1-800-773-2489.

When calling for garbage container or repair, the Customer Care Center will verify the bin’s number matches your account.  Be prepared to encounter account corrections that may result in additional fees after the audit.  It would be a good idea to have a list of all your bin numbers handy in case one is stolen or somehow ends up on an adjacent property.
