On Saturday night, March 30, The Getty will participate in Earth Day by turning off all non-essential lights for one hour from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

Proposed Additional Parking Lots to Accommodate Busses

Good news for the residents on Moraga near the Portola Trail Monument area!  Getty is planning to add two surface parking areas to accommodate the overflow of visitor’s cars and busses.  

The already-graded lots were used for staging by Cal Trans during the 405 expansion project. Once plans and permits are complete, work to prepare the lots is expected to take five to six months.
