Court Order for Hadid: Demolition (phase 1) of 901 Strada Vecchia

On Thursday, Superior Court Judge Craig D. Karlan issued an order for a demolition plan relating to certain non-permitted and illegal portions of the structure at 901 Strata Vecchia Road.

The order requires the developer and his contractors to remove the entire third story of the house. 

The judge also ordered the demolition and removal of the entire pool deck structure including the lower deck (five illegal apartment suites) and required the developer to cut the columns down to the existing grade.

The judge also imposed strict rules pertaining to safety and supervision regarding the demolition.  

Demolition to be completed by September 15, 2019.
