Voter Ballot Tips

Here are some tips:

• By now, you should have received a ballot in the mail. After you fill out your ballot, make sure to:

✅ Put it inside the official return envelope
✅ Seal it securely
✅ Sign and date the back of the envelope

If you wish to return your ballot via U.S. Mail, just drop it in any clearly marked U.S. Postal Service mailbox by Tuesday, November 3rd.

• You can also drop your ballot in a special secure Vote by Mail Ballot Drop Box. There are more than 400 secure Ballot Drop Boxes throughout LA County giving voters a safe, accessible and contact free method to return their ballot during COVID-19. You can find a list of all Ballot Drop Box locations at LAVote.net.

• Sign up to track your ballot to find out when it has been received and counted. Register for the California Secretary of State's "Where's My Ballot" service to receive e-mail, text or voice call notifications about your ballot.
