Reminder: LADWP Sunset West pipe replacement project to commence Nov/Dec 2020, ends May 2021

LADWP will begin a new pipe replacement project in November/December 2020.  The traffic mitigation details are still in the preliminary stage.  The pipe that is to be replaced was originally installed in the 1930s.  The project will involve replacing the old existing pipe with a new, 36-inch diameter welded steel pipe in a 550-foot section on Sunset Boulevard in the vicinity of Marymount High School and Udine Way.

The project is expected to be completed by May 2021.

The Bel-Air Association will advise the community to updates as soon as they are received from LADWP.
