Many answer urgent call: Bel-Air/Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council - UCLA Blood Drive at the BAA parking lot

The Bel-Air/Bevelry Crest Neighborhood Council (BABCNC) and UCLA had a good turnout for the blood drive in the Bel-Air Association’s parking lot on Friday.

As as result of COVID-19 containment measures, many blood drives that were previously planned to take place at schools and public places were cancelled due to the temporary closures of those location, thus creating a severe shortage of blood.

The Bel-Air Association thanks Robin Greenberg, President of the BABCNC, the BABCNC Board, and UCLA for organizing this drive and hope more can be scheduled in the not too distant future.
