Wildlife Pilot Study is Still Alive

The Wildlife Pilot Study has been under threat of defunding in LA City’s emergency budget. The project is still underway and maintaining some staff positions for fiscal 2020/21. According to Tony Tucci, Chairperson of Citizens for Los Angeles Wildlife (CLAW), “It’s exciting that the study’s draft ordinance is near the finish line and it can become regulatory rather quickly, providing much needed protections for the land, trees and wild ones.”
