Corruption in City Hall: Councilmember Jose Huizar has bribery and money laundering added to charges against him; Raymond Chan still under investigation

City Councilman Jose Huizar, former Chairman of the Planning and Land Use Management Committee, is charged in a 34-count indictment alleging wide-ranging political corruption.

Former Mayor Garcetti-appointed LADBS General Manager, Ray Chan, who later shifted into Mayor Garcetti’s office as an ex-Deputy Mayor, is still under FBI investigation.
