METRO: Update on Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project

METRO is currently evaluating the private industry proposals for the Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project that will link Van Nuys to the Westside and then to LAX.  The deadline for these private proposal submissions was August 26th.  The public will be able to comment on these projects in early 2021 during a one-month public comment window.

The Bel-Air community, who knows well the soil liquefaction-prone areas, difficult terrain, and geological faults, as well as subway vents popping up on private properties, have interest in this project due to the fact that four METRO-designed scenarios involve drilling beneath Bel-Air homes.
