Update: Ridgeline Ordinance

We are pleased to report that Councilmember Koretz’s office will be asking the Draft Ridgeline Ordinance be placed on hold while attempts are made to address community concerns and fix significant flaws.  While many concerns have been voiced, most pointed to the height restriction and difficulty to rebuild in the event of major damage to a home.

Like many of you, the Bel-Air Association is alarmed by the restrictions that have been suggested. We certainly appreciate the idea of preserving our ridgelines, but it should not come at the expense of existing homeowners.

Further discussions and input will likely be had, so we will continue to keep you informed.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions, concerns or comments.
