LA County Assessor Launches New Website

New and improved website!

The Office of the Assessor has launched a new and improved website that features a sleek and highly functional design. The site is not just improvements to the old website, but a completely rebuilt from the ground-up platform.

The new website is easier to use and is optimized for mobile and tablet devices. It features an improved “target keyword search” feature, as well as new informational content and toolkits.

One of the updated features includes an artificial intelligence CHATBOT that can answer the most common questions. Various assessment calculators and tools increase the usability and navigation of the site…a one-stop-shop for property tax administration resources.

No matter where you are or what device you are using, and no matter what you are looking for, the new website will be easy to use and intuitive.

Los Angeles County Assessor Jeff Prang leads the largest local public property assessment agency in the nation. His office of over 1,300 appraisers and support staff are dedicated to creating an accurate and timely property Assessment Roll. This year, the Los Angeles County Assessor's Office conducted more than 2.5 million real estate and business assessments valued at more than $1.7 trillion.
