Another Step Forward: House Party Regulation Motion Passes Planning & Land Use Committee, Public Safety Committee

The party house law takes another step forward (CF 12-1824-S1).  Councilmember Ryu’s motion, with the support of Councilmember Koretz,  to create new enforcement for party houses was approved unanimously by the Planning and Land Use Committee and this week passed the Public Safety Committee. Next step is City Council and, if passed, will head to the City Attorney’s office for the drafting of an Ordinance.
