Councilmember Paul Koretz and Department of Public Works Held Community Meeting on Monday, June 13, 2016

Dear Bel-Air Community:

The City of Los Angeles' Board of Public Works came to West Los Angeles on Monday, June 13th at 5:30 PM. The event was held inside the auditorium at Cheviot Hills Recreation Center. Parking was available in the large parking lot next to the auditorium.

Councilmember Koretz worked with the Board of Public Works to have this special town hall meeting as a way for constituents to meet the directors of each bureau, and others in charge of various services at the Department of Public Works. Normally, their meetings are at City Hall, but this one is out in the City, and there won't be items on the agenda. The focus at this meeting was to inform the public on what the department does, and address residents concerns.  Topics included potholes, homeless encampments, trees, graffiti, sidewalks, and many others.

We thank Councilmember Koretz and his staff for the opportunity to have this Town Hall-style meeting on the Westside of Los Angeles.
