Brush Clearance Deadline is here: LAFD Residential Inspections begin May 1st!

Bel-Air Fire 1961

The Bel-Air Association is working with the LAFD Brush Clearance Division to ensure property owners comply with annual brush clearance specifications as detailed in the LAFD's March letter to homeowners (https://www.lafd.org/fire-prevention/brush/2022-owner-notification-mailer).

If any BAA member has a serious concern about brush clearance on a particular lot or property, please contact either the LAFD Brush Clearance Division directly or the BAA at (310) 474-3527 or by email at info@belairassociation.org by Thursday, April 28.

If reasonable, we suggest reaching out to the property owner first to check whether they are in the process of compliance. City-owned properties are also subject to brush clearance requirements, and can also be reported.
