Wildlife Ordinance: New draft for public review

The Los Angeles Department of City Planning (LADCP) has released its revised draft of the Wildlife Ordinance for public review. The Wildlife Pilot Study is intended to result in regulations that will help to preserve wildlife and promote habitat connectivity in a pilot study area in the Santa Monica Mountains between the 405 and 101 freeways.

Furthermore, Bel Air-Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council (BABCNC) has begun reviewing the new draft of the Wildlife Ordinance. The Ad Hoc Subcommittee on the Proposed Wildlife District has begun meeting and will prepare a draft comment letter for the NC to submit. All are encouraged to participate.
