KEEPING UP WITH THE BAA- WEEKLY UPDATES (3/15 - 3/22)

Worked with DWP to repair an underground water leak on Bellagio at Carcassone. DWP quickly resolved the issue.

  • The community camera installation project continues. 

  • Worked with LAPD on areas where excessive speeding and other traffic violations occur.

  • Worked with DOT for increased enforcement in areas where illegal parking occurs. 

  • Worked with DOT to install traffic signs once hillside remediation is complete on Chalon.

  • Continue to work with DWP to upgrade cell phone towers and infrastructure throughout our community. 

  • BAA & KBAB are upgrading plant material at Bel-Air's iconic entrances. 

  • Worked with LAUSD, Student Transportation and local schools to ensure their bus drivers follow all parking and driving rules. 

  • Working with LAPD Street Racing Task force and Council District 5 in regard to the two recent street takeovers on Moraga. Video footage was shared. 

  • Reported reckless driver spotted in Bel-Air to LAPD.

  • Working with DWP in regard to a recent water main break on the 1000 block of Casiano Road.

  • Followed up with the Orum project manager in regard to the status on the hillside remediation. Will be completed in the upcoming weeks (depending on weather). 

  • The community camera installation project continues. 

  • 2025 membership perk cards mailed out to all BAA members with a list of participating businesses. 

  • Working with LAPD Senior Lead Officer and California Department of Social Services in regard to the Drug Rehabilitation home on Chalon Road.

  • Vacant construction property on the 800 block of Linda Flora

    • Filed a report with LADBS.

  • Continue to work with DWP to upgrade cell phone towers and infrastructure throughout our community.
