Safety Improvement on Moraga and Bellagio

The BAA is happy to report that after months of working with the DOT & CD5, the K71 bollards, a device that promotes safety and improves transportation efficiency, have been installed at the intersection of Moraga and Bellagio.  The K71’s are a deterrence to street racing and takeovers.  The K71’s will also help with the flow of traffic during rush hour and prevent back-ups in the intersection. Additionally, DOT installed new signage to help with the egress/ingress of traffic, ensuring that cars do not go against opposing traffic and enter/exit in the correct one-way section.
