Paul Koretz to host Tenants Rights Clinic on December 16, 2019

Dear Friends,

I invite every renter with questions about their rights to join me Monday night December 16 at the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW-LA) located at, 543 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036, for a special Tenants’ Rights Housing Clinic.

We've partnered with LACare, Bet Tzedek - The House of Justice, Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro LLP and the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles to offer everyone this opportunity at no cost. We know that a staggering amount of Angelenos have been displaced from their homes or threatened with eviction.  In many circumstances, these actions are unlawful and tenants need legal assistance to deal with them.

In my efforts to remedy our homelessness and housing crisis I have made prevention a priority.  This event is a special opportunity to learn about your rights as a tenant and have an opportunity to speak to an attorney about any questions you may have regarding your housing.  If you or anyone you know can benefit from this clinic please share this flyer and help us bring this invaluable resource to our community.

Sincerely,
Paul Koretz
Councilmember, Fifth District
