TRAFFIC IMPACT: LADWP continues work on Sunset at Carolwood with intermittent road closures
As part of the Bel Air Power Upgrade Project, LADWP will be closing N. Carolwood Drive from Sunset Blvd to Brooklawn Drive on an intermittent basis through October 2019. Construction will include excavating and trenching to install new underground electric infrastructure that will upgrade and increase power capacity.
Access to homes will be allowed but please plan extra time to navigate around construction. There will be open trenches and heavy construction equipment so please drive slowly and with caution. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times and flaggers will assist with traffic flow.
Construction work hours are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 3:30pm and Saturdays 8:00am to 7:00pm. Note that on Saturdays, prep time will begin at 7:00am but construction will not begin until 8:00am.
