BY POPULAR DEMAND:
Native Tree Species Selection
Please join us for the next session of the webinar series, Lunch and Learn with the City Forest Officer, which happens the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month. By popular demand, Rachel will provide her observations about native tree species selection in Los Angeles, including the benefits and challenges of planting natives in the public right of way. She’ll also take feedback about your favorite native trees, where you like to see them and what you might like to see done differently.
As the City's first ever Forest Officer, Ms. Malarich is excited to connect regularly with the public and urban forest stakeholders. Future sessions will also include invited urban forestry, tree and ecology experts.
SAVE THE DATE! The next Lunch and Learn session on February 10th.
