KEEPING UP WITH THE BAA! A few of this week's updates!

  • BAA Board Member Gail Sroloff and Executive Director Jonathan Brand met with Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky expressing the community's concerns below. She listened, took notes and said she would look into our concerns:

    • Installation of cell phone towers throughout Bel-Air

    • DWP repairs to fix the numerous power outages that have been occurring

    • More enforcement of City rules including parking, construction and safety violations  

  • BAA Board Member Leslie Weisberg had lunch with Councilwoman Katy Yaroslavsky to discuss fire safety in our community.

  • A BAA Representative attended the BABCNC meeting about Fire Insurance led by Commissioner Lara.

  • The BAA met with our Fire Committee & MySafeLA to put together a list of valuable information to share with our community including more information on home hardening, defensible space and brush clearance
     

The BAA works hard for our community. There's so much more that the BAA is working on & we will continue to update you on all our efforts & the progress!
